Shuttering plywood is an important component that is utilized in shuttering process at construction sites while pouring concrete into molds. The plywood is erected in a manner which makes the mold weather resistant and the ply itself does not gels to the concrete. For such applications, we offer Film Faced Shuttering Plywood which is a highly compact board made from toughened structural plywood. It has been manufactured by employing the 'Heating-cooling Cycle' method that imparts high strength to this plywood. This product is well capable of withstanding the heavy load exerted by concrete or the vibrations caused in a structure. The durability of the plywood can be attributed to the superior quality of densified shuttering Ply and selected hardwood veneers, used in its making. The phenol formaldehyde resin used in the manufacturing process is of BWP grade and conforms to IS 848:1974. Our Film Faced Shuttering Plywood is ideal to to be used in a vacuum pressure impregnation plant for the purpose of bonding permanent preservative treatment.
How To Maintain the Film Faced Shuttering Plywood?
The first step to taking care of this ply is to shield it from rain and dampness. It is recommended to store them on a raised surface above the ground in a clean and dry space that is well ventilated. Do not drag the boards over one another as it may result in scratches on the surface and scarring. To avoid scratches, foreign particles such as sand and tiny pebbles must not be present between the surfaces of two boards. For better protection, each panel must be kept dry and separated with the help of spacers. The edges of the plywood should be cut at the of making concrete structures and painted with protective agents for a longer life such as chlorinated rubber paint.
